Hi, my name is Zoe and I have started this blog about firetechcamp so
that the campers understand how exciting their vacation is going to be!
I
have once before been to a computer camp in Los Angeles and it was amazing. I
learned how to create a game for iphones, ipods, and ipads using game salad and
my brother Niccolo learned computer programming using scratch. Because of this
great experience, my mom decided to start her own camp: FireTechCamp!
Why the name FireTechCamp?
The
name FireTechCamp was not chosen at random. Fire shows growth and brightness, a
spark for the future, something that will help others and spread through-out
the world.
Our goal:
Our goal is for campers like you and me to
learn things you wouldn’t learn in school and make it FUN. In the weekly
courses we propose to you, we will not only teach you to create games but we
will teach you to socialize and meet new friends.
You will learn all these computer activities on either a microsoft
computer or a Mac depending on your subject. We hope you will enjoy using the
computers and will be able to teach your friends a couple of tricks or
shortcuts after your week at camp and be able to use this new information to do
something BIG.
